Hobblestones

A series of terraces was introduced to stabilise the landscape, create usable outdoor spaces and establish a stronger relationship between the house and garden.

Although modest in scale, every decision was made to enhance the sense of space. Carefully positioned terraces, layered planting and framed views encourage the eye to travel beyond the garden itself, creating a landscape that feels more expansive than its footprint suggests.

As the garden matures, evergreen climbers and perennial planting will soften the built structure, gradually weaving the boundaries into the surrounding landscape. The result is a garden that feels settled, resilient and increasingly connected to the wider landscape beyond.
