Terraces

This new build garden was a large slope which made use of the garden very difficult. We set out to not only make this space more useable but to take it to the next level making it beautiful, exiting and inviting.

We used a simple layout to create enjoyable flat terraces and then set about weaving in features that the owners would love such as planting for year round interest that can be admired from the home offices.

There are italian style hedges, a bespoke pergola, a games lawn, a special tree for the birds, flowering evergreen screening and also a secret vegetable bed, hidden from view but allowing the owners to experiment and benefit from a productive garden.

All materials were sourced from sustainable and FSC certified suppliers, planting is native and pollinator friendly and the raised beds are filled with permacultre materials to ensure a healthy symbiosis with the wider ecosystem.
