This residential sculpture garden sits on an exposed coastal headland, overlooking the Atlantic with views to the sea. The design draws on the idea of the garden as a narrative landscape, using distant landmarks to frame a dialogue between art, setting, and horizon.
Sweeping walls and orchestrated sightlines structure the space, creating a semi-formal composition that reflects the movement of coastal paths and waves. A sunken walled garden forms sheltered microclimates within the site, using landform and enclosure to create a sequence of intimate, cloister-like rooms.
Sculptures are arranged along looping paths, revealed gradually through movement. Curving walls frame key views and anchor artworks within the wider landscape, ensuring a balanced relationship between art, space, and scale.
